IT Induction and support when you arrive

During Welcome Weekend and Freshers' week, IT Services will be offering a number of free half hour optional drop-in training sessions, to introduce you to the IT facilities and services available. You can book an induction with the Service Desk in advance or just turn up on the day.

Internet connection in Halls of Residence

New students staying in Glasney Village: The Wi-Fi connection in Glasney Village is called RESNET. To access RESNET Wi-Fi in your room you will need to register your computer. This will enable you to connect automatically and prevent you from having to constantly log in.

New students staying in Tuke House: Students living in Tuke House have a wired connection and wireless connection. You will need to register your device. For information on connecting to the internet in your Halls of Residence and details of registering your device, please visit our website.
